Screen tutorial: record, trim, send

Record your screen with Clip, trim the recording in Trim and send it with Transfer. Until you hit send, the video stays on your device.

Data and privacy

All three work only in your browser

Recordings, videos and images stay on your device; our server never sees them. A file only leaves your device when you choose to send it with Transfer. When Shrink converts an image, it removes metadata such as EXIF and GPS.

Frequently asked questions

Are my videos and images uploaded?
No. Clip, Trim and Shrink process everything in your browser. Load the tool, open your file, then switch off Wi-Fi: the editing keeps working.
Is there a size limit?
Not from our side. Because everything happens in your browser, your device sets the limit: very long or very large videos need a lot of memory and time.
Is there a watermark?
Not in Trim: the exported video shows only what you kept. Clip, however, adds a small, semi-transparent Berlin Bird Studios logo to the bottom right of every video recording.
Can I record on my phone?
Not your screen: phone browsers don't allow screen capture, so Clip needs a desktop browser for that. Trim and Shrink don't need screen capture.
What does it cost?
Nothing. Clip, Trim and Shrink have no paid plan, show no ads and need no account.
