Open Book for freeBirdsuite Book is an online booking tool by Berlin Bird Studios in Germany. Hosts get a free booking page of their own, guests book without an account, and both receive a calendar file by email. Each booking can get its own Meet video room. Group scheduling polls are free, up to 3 open at once; Pro (€3/month) lifts the cap. No ads.
The problem
Finding a time by email takes ages: a proposal, a counter-proposal, and then the video link is still missing. Some booking tools show ads on their free plan or process your data in the US.
The solution
With Book you set your availability once. Guests pick a free slot on your page, you both get a confirmation with a calendar file and, if you like, a Meet link of its own. For groups, start a poll for free, or as many at once as you like with Pro.
How it works
-
1
Create your page
Sign up for free, choose your address (/@name) and set duration, buffer and your weekly hours.
-
2
Share the link
Send your link or put it in your email signature. Guests only see times that are still free.
-
3
Get the appointment
The guest books with name and email. You both get a confirmation with a calendar file, with a Meet link if you like.
Features
Free booking page
Your page at book.birdsuite.ai/@name, with weekly hours, duration, buffer, minimum notice and booking horizon.
A video room per booking
Switch on Meet and every booking gets its own video link automatically. Nobody needs an account in the video room either.
Guests without an account
Guests book with name and email, no sign-up. The link in their confirmation lets them cancel on their own.
A calendar file instead of calendar access
Both sides get an email with an .ics file. Book never needs access to your calendar.
Any location
Phone, address or video: the location appears in the confirmation and the calendar entry.
Group polls
Propose 2 to 20 times, everyone votes yes, if need be or no, without an account. Everyone who left an email gets the final date as a calendar file. Up to 3 polls can be open at once for free.
Unlimited polls with Pro
With Pro for €3/month you keep as many group polls open at once as you need.
Pro
No ads
Neither hosts nor guests see ads. No tracking cookies, servers in the EU (Germany and France).

What Book can’t do
- No calendar sync: Book does not see your other appointments, so double bookings are possible.
- One appointment type per host.
- No payments when booking.
- Hosts get no booking overview in their account and cannot cancel: bookings arrive by email with a calendar file.
- No team pages and no distribution across several people.

Who is it for?
Consulting and coaching
Intro calls by video: every booking gets its own Meet room, with no extra video tool and no account for your clients.
Trades and services
On-site visits with the address in the calendar entry, a buffer for travel and enough notice.
Office hours
Teachers, clubs or practices open fixed weekly time slots; whoever wants to come books on their own.
Better together
Birdsuite Meet
Video calls for 4–8 people in the browser: send a link and you're in — no account, no app, audio and video go directly between you.
Birdsuite Note
Markdown notes that start instantly: no account in the browser, synced on servers in the EU (Germany and France) with a free account — shareable and scriptable via API.
Birdsuite Scan
QR codes with colour and logo that really scan — free, no account, no expiry. With Pro: change the target after printing and count scans without personal data.
Frequently asked questions
- Do guests need an account?
- No. Guests book with their name and email address and get a confirmation with a calendar file. Only you as the host need a free account.
- Do I have to connect my calendar?
- No, both sides get a calendar file by email. To be honest: there is no sync with your calendar. So set your weekly hours, buffer and booking horizon carefully, otherwise double bookings are possible.
- Does every booking get a video link?
- Yes, if you switch it on. Then every booking gets its own Meet room, and the link is in both confirmations. For phone or on-site appointments, leave it off and enter the location.
- What does Book cost?
- The booking page and up to 3 group polls open at once are free. Unlimited polls come with Pro for €3/month or €30/year, VAT included.
- How many group polls can I run for free?
- Up to 3 can be open at once. A poll counts until you fix its date or delete it; then the slot is free again.
- Booking page vs. group poll?
- On the booking page one person picks one of your free slots. In a group poll you propose several times, a group votes, and you fix the date that works best.
- Does Book show ads?
- No, neither to you nor to your guests. Book sets no tracking cookies either.
- Where are bookings stored?
- On our servers in the EU (Germany and France) (Host Europe, Strasbourg, France). Booking data is kept until you delete your account.
- Can guests cancel or reschedule?
- They can cancel, using the link in their confirmation, and you are notified by email. Rescheduling means cancelling and booking again.
Ready? Birdsuite Book runs right in your browser.
